GCIT (White Card) Training

$110 / Person

This unit of competency specifies the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work on any site in Australia. This unit requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislation requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others.

This course consists of the following :

• CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
• 1/2 day course

Barista Training

$200 / per person

Acquire the skills and knowledge required to extract and serve espresso coffee beverages using commercial espresso machines and grinders.  Advise customers on coffee beverages, select and grind coffee beans, prepare and assess espresso coffee beverages and to use, maintain and clean the machines and grinders.

This course consists of the following:

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Obtain the essential skills and knowledge required to responsibly serve and sell alcohol in licenced venues icluding but not limited to; hospitality venues, packaged liquor outlets and wineries, breweries and distilleries.  These skills come under the requirements of state and territory liquor licencing laws.

Responsible Gambling Services (RGS)

An RGS Statement on Attainment is required for individuals who work in venues with gambling or gaming facilities.  By the completion of this course, you will be able to provide responsible gambling services and information to customers who require assistance with their gambling problem.

Food Safety Training (Level 1)

This short course applies to individuals who handle, prepare or serve food and is a legal requirement for all employees to have completed this training in Australia.  Food handlers must comply with requirements contained within the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.

Food Safety Supervisor Training (Level 2)

Provide First aid

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
