Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows individuals to be granted all or part of a nationally recognised qualification. It is about the skills and knowldge you’ve gained through work and life experiences. If you’re thinking about studying or training, consider what skills you aready have. You may be able to reduce the time it takes to get your qualification.
Every unit undertaken at SkillCentred has a set of learning outcomes and assessment criteria that must be achieved before a person is deemed competent in that particular unit. If you believe that you have already achieved those outcomes, you can apply for an RPL.
A Unique Student Idenifier (USI) is a reference number which secures all your training records and transcripts online. In order to receive a Certificate or Statement of Attainment, legally, you must have a USI. If you do not have a USI prior to enrolment, SkillCentred is able to create one with your permission.
